What you'll find

Daytime Cold & Flu

Multi-symptom formulas like DayQuil and Theraflu that address congestion, sore throat, fever, and body aches without causing drowsiness. Good for staying functional while sick.

Nighttime Cold & Flu

Formulas designed for use before bed—same symptom coverage as daytime options, with an added antihistamine or sleep aid to help you rest.

Cough Suppressants & Expectorants

Dextromethorphan (DXM) suppresses the urge to cough. Guaifenesin (the active ingredient in Mucinex) loosens mucus so it’s easier to clear. Some products combine both.

Decongestants

Pseudoephedrine (Sudafed) and phenylephrine for nasal and sinus congestion. Pseudoephedrine is kept behind the pharmacy counter but does not require a prescription.

Sore Throat Relief

Lozenges, sprays, and liquid treatments for throat pain and irritation.

Fever & Pain Relief

Acetaminophen and ibuprofen for fever, headache, and body aches associated with colds and flu. Also available as combination ingredients in multi-symptom products.

Flu Treatments

Antiviral medications for the flu (like Tamiflu) require a prescription and are not available OTC. If you think you have the flu, especially in the first 48 hours, contact your doctor.
