What the UCard OTC catalog covers
The catalog includes both brand-name and generic products across several categories. What's available to you depends on your specific plan, but most plans cover the following.

Some UnitedHealthcare OTC benefits can be used for groceries and utility bills, but there are specific conditions. Starting in 2026, UnitedHealthcare requires verification of a qualifying chronic condition to use your OTC credit on healthy food and utilities. Qualifying conditions include diabetes, cardiovascular disorders, chronic heart failure, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. UHC says they've already pre-verified 95% of eligible members, so most people won't need to take action.
